The cover is off the grass and the mower has given the stadium that freshly cut smell! The Season Tickets are in hand and are just itching to be used, tempting us and tormenting us as they sit on the dressers, kitchen counters, and everwhere else boys put their things. Our eldest brother lives in the same neighborhood as Marcos Rivera, one of the head honchos over consessions at Rio Tinto Stadium who moved here from Jacksonville, Florida to be a part of Rio Tinto, and he assures us the grills are primed, the cheese dispensors ready, and the ice cream chilled. To that end, we are very much looking forward to the "friendly" with Austin Aztecs this Saturday at 1pm and Rio Tinto Stadium. Highs near 70, and everything free on Saturday sounds just about right after spending life savings on season tickets!
Congrats to the guys for their preseason tournament championship back east!! The team is starting to set like our Mom's fabulous jello salad. It's a Utah tradition! We are expecting great things from our boys and know they will make Rio Tinto the iron clad fortress Rice Eccles was last year. And with a few more road wins and ties this year, we smell the Supporters Shield just around the corner.
AAHHHH...can you smell that?? Spring time in Utah. There is nothing better in all the world! Especially when it involves our boys! Go get em!!
